Montgomery County Fire EMS is located in Montgomery County, Kentucky.  We serve the citizens of Mount Sterling, Camargo, and Jeffersonville, covering approximately 200 square miles and an estimated population of 27,000 people.  MOCO Fire EMS operates out of three stations with 3 ALS ambulances, and 2 Engines covering approx. 7,000 EMS calls and 1,500 fire calls.  To apply with us you only need to have a current drivers license and current CPAT (Candidate Physical Ability Test) card.  Applicants must have a current CPAT card by their interview date.  Upon accepting a job offer you will become a FF/EMT utilizing the Fire Commission's EMT class and Fire Academy.  You will be paid for your time in the EMT class and Fire Academy.  Upon completion of training you will be on a 24/48 schedule.  Alternatively, if you are already a paramedic, we have positions available in a non-firefighter role that do not require CPAT.  The same application can be used for this position as well.  Below you will find three hyperlinks;  an application, hiring checklist, and the pay scale.
